What Is a Drum Palletizer?

A drum palletizer is a tool that helps you easily transport and move large, rimmed drums. The Morse Drum Spotter can pick up drums ranging from 34 to 36 inches tall and 22 to 23.5 inches in diameter, weighing up to 800 pounds. It can raise drums 6 inches high, the height of most standard pallets.

The Drum Spotter is made from type 304 stainless steel with spark-resistant parts, making it durable and reliable.

How to Use a Drum Palletizer

The drum palletizer has a wedge-shaped design and a handle that raises and lowers. To use the palletizer, position the drum in the V-shaped wedge of the Drum Spotter. Lower the handle so that the palletizer grips the barrel’s rim on two sides and ratchets into place, securing the drum.

You can then raise the handle parallel to the floor as you push the palletizer and drum over to the pallet. Position the drum in the corner of the pallet, then lower the handle to release.
